Chess Improvement Now

Are you (or your child) satisfied with your/their chess results? Want to win more? A chess coach can help! Now you could pay good money for coaching from a Master but if you are rated under 1700 then a 'Class A' player can show you how to win more chess games! 'Class A' players are rated in the top 10% of nationally rated players.

Rama G is a 'Class A' tournament competitor with years of experience.

He will help you to get better results by

1. showing you how to play stronger chess +

2. showing you how to get the best results possible
with your current chess strength. +

3. by analyzing your games with you +

4 by playing you and then analyzing with you (optional).

Prizes: Trophies for 1st and 2nd place winners.

Tiebreak 1 = individual encounter. Tiebreak 2
= number of Black wins. Tiebreak 3 = playoff.

Time Control: G/30;d30 - Affects both Quick and Regular rating.

Format: 4 Rounds (format tbd)

Entry Fees:
$15.50 online through Friday the day before the tournament begins.
$20. onsite. If rated 1800 or higher: $10. online, $10. onsite. No checks or money orders.

Onsite Entries: until 5:55 pm Saturdays

Rounds Times: Round 1 and 3 at 6:00 p.m. Rounds 2 and 4 at (approximately) 7:30 p.m.
Tournament completed over two Saturdays.

Byes: Up to 2 half-point byes available in any rounds - must be determined before round 2 begins.

DIR: Between Starbucks and Goodwill near the SouthWest corner of N 7th St & E Thunderbird Rd

Event Limitations and Site Conditions: No Smoking. No Computers. Wheelchair Accessible.
